Background

Stress and schizophrenia Recovery model as framework

Research suggests that the key conditions in the recovery process are hope, healing, empowerment, and connection with
others. All the modules in this counseling program are based conceptually on a recovery model promoting these 4 conditions. Recovery is an ongoing
process that involves assessing and adjusting one’s goals. It also involves finding ways to develop new meaning and purpose in one’s life. Recovery involves the whole person, including one’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects.
